Sangria, a refreshing and delicious drink!
Enjoy your homemade sangria with friends and family!
Steps
In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy or rum, orange liqueur, and sugar. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
Add the sliced fruit to the pitcher and stir to combine.
Refrigerate the sangria for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.
How to make
When ready to serve, stir in the club soda or sparkling water.
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the sangria over the ice.
Garnish each glass with a slice of fruit.
Tips:
If you prefer white sangria, simply use a bottle of white wine instead of red wine.
For a non-alcoholic version, replace the wine and spirits with grape juice or cranberry juice, and use lemon-lime soda instead of club soda.
You can also customize the fruit to your preference. Try adding strawberries, raspberries, or peaches.
Notes:
To make a larger batch of sangria, simply adjust the quantities of the ingredients accordingly.
